Ogden Canyon/Monte Cristo - Ogden, UT 7. Golden Gate Park - San Francisco, CA 8. Shenandoah National Park - Luray, VA 9. Chautauqua Park - Boulder, CO 10. places to view the gorgeous Fall leaves! "Our family loves the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The top of Cannon Mountain (accessible by tramway), in Franconia Notch State Park is a lovely spot. Rattlesnake Mountain, (trailhead off Rte. 113 in Holderness, NH) is a short hike with incredible lake and mountain views. Breathtaking in the fall. Owl's Head, in the Groton State Forest near Groton, VT, is reached by driving most of the way up the mountain and then a short hike to the summit. Views of pond and foliage; just beautiful. The foliage is almost at peak now here in New Hampshire.
