Children's Handprint Leaves
by Michelle Jones

You can make all sorts of projects with leaves, and you can even make leaves out of your children's handprints!

Just use Fall colors of construction paper - red, orange, yellow, green, brown - and have your child place his/her hands on the paper.  Draw an outline around their hands and then help him/her cut the leaf shapes out.  Cut the bottom of the handprint down into a point, like a leaf!

You can use the leaves to decorate a poster or banner for the season, or even picture frames!  They also make great tail-feathers for a turkey picture, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it.

Use your imagination and have some FUN! Place them around the edge of a basket or table, or even the front door!
